beef tongue with potatoes. Cooked in a broth with leeks, carrots ....

how long does the tongue have to cook?

3 hours at least if 1,5 kg tongue ! I put it in cold water the night before to make it tender, I boil it for 1 hour in other water and change again the water for another hour and a half. Then add vegetables for around 30 to 45 minutes.
Long to cook but so delicious according to me !
