It's not "mootzarell" ... it's "motza-rella" ... that is in "proper" Italian. The dialectical pronunciation will always give away a phony who's trying to tell you his ancestors are from "Northern" Italy. On the other hand, this cheese is in fact a native of southern Italy where they raised water buffalo for milk, so they get to call it anything they want!
